Something has changed at Berkshire Vacation Rental Co. — and if you've ever booked one of our properties through Airbnb or VRBO, this is worth reading.
We just launched our own direct booking platform, and it's live right now at berkshirevacationrental.com.
What That Means for Guests
Booking direct with BVR means you're working with us — directly. No middleware, no third-party checkout, no platform service fees sitting between you and your reservation. The same properties you've come to know and trust, now available to book through our own secure, easy-to-use website.
And yes — the reviews are there. We're a real company with a real track record in the Berkshires. You're not taking a leap of faith booking outside a major platform. You're just cutting out the middleman.
For returning guests especially, this is a meaningful change. Guests who book direct can typically expect to save between 5% and 10% compared to booking through a third-party platform. On a $2,000 stay that's real money — back in your pocket before your trip even starts.
What We're Building
Here's the bigger picture. BVR isn't just launching a booking page — we're building an independent marketplace for Berkshire vacation rentals. One that's locally owned, locally operated, and built specifically for this region.

They don't know that foliage season books out faster than the Fourth of July here, or that Tanglewood weekends need to be planned months in advance. We do.
